/ Sustainable Products

Using sustainable materials is one of the most important actions manufacturers can take to reduce our environmental and social impact. That’s why we’ve introduced the Pegasus Chefwear Ekocloth range made from 100% recycled PET bottles (add link to blog post), and are working on introducing a variety of further sustainable product ranges in future.

/ Electric Vehicles

It’s vital to ensure that we keep our carbon footprint down by reducing emissions where possible, and electric vehicles are a great way to do this. All of the forklifts used in our warehouses are electric, and we’ve also installed electric vehicle charging points in our parking area for staff use.

/ Ethical Sourcing

All of our suppliers are required to abide by the Pegasus World Ethical Sourcing Policy, which sets out a series of requirements for labour conditions. These requirements are drawn from the Base Code of the Ethical Trading Initiative, a leading organisation that works to promote respect for labour rights worldwide.

Pegasus World Celebrates Milestone in Sustainability - First Dispatch of UpCycle Programme

We are elated to officially announce a significant milestone in our journey towards environmental sustainability - the first dispatch from our UpCycle Programme at Pegasus World! This landmark achievement is brought to life in our video showcase that takes you behind the scenes into our programme dedicated to supporting the circular economy. We transform end-of-life linens and towels, which would have ended up in landfills, into valuable resources. Our UpCycle Programme is a direct representation of our unwavering commitment to environmental conservation. We are now not only reducing waste, but also efficiently utilizing our natural resources - thus promoting a more sustainable future. However, the benefits of participating in our UpCycle Programme go beyond just contributing to a healthier planet. Companies that join us in this program receive a double wicket win: Firstly, we eliminate the costs associated with disposing of end-of-life linen and towels. Secondly, we bolster their reputation by enabling them to demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability. We believe this is a massive stride forward, but we’re not stopping here. This is just the beginning of our continued commitment towards paving the road towards a sustainable, socially responsible future.
